Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration — Australian release guide.
Release date: Wednesday, 16 September 2026. Pokémon has confirmed that the 30th Celebration expansion launches simultaneously worldwide, putting Australian collectors on the same launch date as other markets.
The set is built around Pokémon's 30th anniversary. Pokémon says each 30th Celebration booster contains five foil cards, including one of 30 different Pikachu illustrations, plus a foil Basic Energy card. The expansion also revisits classic cards through its Classic Collection.
Why this release matters
Anniversary Pokémon products tend to attract several different buyers at once: active TCG players, sealed collectors, Pikachu collectors and people returning to the hobby for the anniversary. That usually means the first allocation matters more than simply having a long product list.
What products should Australian buyers watch?
Pokémon's official product showcase confirms multiple ways to obtain 30th Celebration boosters rather than a conventional standalone booster-box release. The range includes collection-style products and accessories released around the main expansion. Availability can vary by retailer and allocation, so LVLUP will only mark products as in stock once our own supply is confirmed.
LVLUP's launch approach
We are currently finalising Australian wholesale access and opening allocations. Our priority is to secure a sensible mix of high-demand sealed products and useful collector accessories rather than publish products we cannot fulfil. Confirmed stock will appear in the Pokémon cards category as supplier allocations are locked in.
Buying tips for launch week
Compare the actual product contents rather than judging value only by the number of boosters. Check whether a listing is genuinely in stock, preorder or backorder. For sealed collecting, condition and shipping protection also matter. Most importantly, avoid assuming that the highest reseller listing represents normal Australian retail value during the first few days of a heavily anticipated release.
Official sources
Release details are based on Pokémon's official 30th Celebration announcements and product showcase. Product availability and LVLUP pricing will only be published once confirmed with suppliers.
